Mastercard expands crypto efforts in Asia-Pacific

Nuvei, a Canadian fintech company, partners with credit card giant Mastercard to offer instant payout capabilities in Asia-Pacific. The partnership will allow Nuvei to offer instantaneous payout capabilities for their customers in the APAC region by using Mastercard Send. Nuvei’s users will be able to process payouts, including business-to-consumer operations and funding transactions of 1.5 billion for credit, debit, and prepaid Mastercard cards. Singapore Red Cross to allow crypto donations

The Singaporean branch of the nonprofit humanitarian organization Red Cross has partnered with the crypto payments gateway, Triple-A, to allow crypto donations . People can now donate four digital currencies — Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, and USDC. According to an announcement by Singapore Red Cross, a payment gateway is provided by Triple-A. Moreover, the nonprofit claims that payments are compatible with all wallets. Triple-A provides locked-in exchange rates. With 70% of the Southeast Asian population under/unbanked, DeFi solutions have positioned themselves as catalysts for financial transformation. In one of the more striking early scenes from P.T.
